Sitting astride his Specialized, Ricky is waiting for the light to change at 82 Street. He's on his way over to Safeway to pick up something for a party he's been invited to by his neighbour Paul.
Ricky is especially pleased that the weather is so fine (minus 17) and there is only a little rime of frozen breath clinging to the wool of his balaclava.
