With his hands warmly wrapped in his bar mitts and two powerful lamps on his helmet, Nels is having a comfortable and safe commute in to the office. He has only to work a half day and is already thinking of his ride home in the glow of the northern winter sunshine.
Nels tells me that he knows when he gets home that his wife Susan will have chili bubbling in the slow cooker and they will eat by the fire that he will make while she serves dinner.
